雷霆小牛第二戰，小牛後衛巴里亞(J.J. Barea)因傷缺賽，總教練卡萊爾(Rick Carlisle)改推費爾頓(Raymond Felton)先發，收到奇效，加上雷霆雙星手感不佳，小牛以85比84險勝對手，系列賽扳平1比1。
費爾頓21分、11籃板全隊最高。諾維茨基(Dirk Nowitzki) 17分，威廉斯(Deron Williams)開賽五分鐘便攻下11分，整場13分、5助攻。他在第三節因左腹部拉傷退場。
雷霆雙星表現黯淡，杜蘭特(Kevin Durant)33投僅7中，生涯季後賽最差表現，最後進帳21分和9籃板。韋斯特布魯克(Russell Westbrook)22投8中，得到19分、14籃板和6助攻。伊巴卡(Serge Ibaka)斬獲12分和8籃板。
小牛前場輸了38分，本場展現頑強鬥志，兩隊一路糾纏，比分始終個位數差，10次平手，17次互換領先。
第四節，小牛哈里斯(Devin Harris)在2分14秒時接獲馬修斯(Wesley Matthews)妙傳得手，兩軍81比81平手，此後雙方屢攻不下，直到最後28秒時，費爾頓上籃才突破僵局。接著馬修斯上籃85比81拉開比分，眼看勝券在握。
時間剩下9秒，杜蘭特投進個人全場第二顆三分球，85比84，隨後送費爾頓上罰球線，整場表現出色的費爾頓卻差點搞砸比賽，兩罰不進給了雷霆最後一擊機會。
倒數3秒，杜蘭特強行突破遭小牛菜鳥安德森(Justin Anderson)封阻，韋少補藍不進後，亞當斯(Steven Adams)再躍起點進，但經裁判重新審視錄影，進球已是響哨後。小牛驚滔駭浪中辛苦一勝。
小牛強大防守讓雷霆全場命中率僅有33.7?接下來兩場比賽將回達拉斯主場進行。
